Fauvist painter Kees Van Dongen who loved to draw women, flowers and paris

My Darling Flowers

I am so glad to post about kees Van Dongen who is my favoriate artist. He was a Dutch painter and central figure of an avant-garde wave. He’s inspired and influenced by impressionists and their style. Indicative of his work is the intense use of color and textured brush work. His works’ characteristic is he illistrated high society women with wit and criticism. His expressive potraits and landscapes received much appreciation and achieved success.
